• Jikook must be the main ship (other ships are allowed)
• Can submit up to 20 prompts per account
• Must include DW (do want) and DNW (do not want).
• You can also use the tags to better explain your prompt (optional)
• Stolen or prompts with prohibited content will be deletedFOR Ao3 WRITERS:• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must have an ao3 account
• Fics must be tagged appropriately (triggering content must be tagged)
• No minimum word count
• Chaptered fics and WIPs are allowed
• Fics must be written in English
• Can claim 2 prompts
• Can self-prompt
• One prompt can be claimed 2 times
• Can’t reveal the details of the prompt they claimedFOR ARTIST/EDITORS & TWT AUs WRITERS:• Can self-prompt or use any of the prompts from ao3 collection

What is this fest about ?This fest is a Jikook-centric omegaverse fest where one or both characters must be a beta. The main ship must be Jikook but side ships are allowed.How does this fest work?This fest is a prompt meme challenge which means that people will submit prompts during the specified period. Claiming will begin soon after in which authors will get to pick (claim) prompts and write them before the deadline. Artists won’t need to claim on ao3, but they can use prompts from the collection for their works.What ships are allowed?The main ship must be Jikook (other side ships are allowed).How can I sign up?Anyone can sign-up as an author/artist or submit a prompt as long as you meet the requirements. If you believe you can fully commit to this fest. Before signing up, please make sure to read the rules.Do I have to write if I submit a prompt? or vice versa?No, you don't. You can do both if you wish or you can just do one without doing the other. It's totally up to you.What can I submit for a prompt?You can submit any ideas, topics or any tropes as long as it has beta JK and/or JM (or both) and is not conflicting with any of our rules.How many prompts can I claim?Writers can claim 2 prompts maximum.Can I claim a prompt that's already been claimed?Yes but only if your claim is a second one. One prompt can be claimed 2 times maximum.Is there a minimum word count?No, there is no minimum word count. Chaptered fics and WIPs are also allowed.Will there be a Check-In?Yes, there will be one check-in. What it actually means to be a BetaThere is a common stereotype that Betas are just the leftover designation. They have no instincts or smell and are not suitable pack members or mates. That stereotype is entirely wrong.Betas in reality are a balance of typical Omega and Alpha instincts, such as nurture and protection. Betas are depicted as having both types of instincts, although their instincts are weaker than Alphas and Omegas.Having and understanding the instincts of all secondary genders makes Betas powerful and somewhat threatening. They can easily appeal to all secondary genders because they understand the instincts that Omegas and Alphas have but are not as dictated by them as the other secondary genders are. This fact threatened Omegas and Alphas as mates and leaders so untrue stereotypes were created to make Betas more unappealing.Betas’ instincts are not just half Alpha and half Omega. Their instincts are usually a mix and unequal balance. A Beta’s own instincts may also clash with each other, causing what appears to be indecisiveness. For example, if a packmate is sick, their more Omegan instincts may tell them to create a nest for the sick packmate, while their Alphan instincts may tell them to feed the sick packmate to keep them strong.Betas can have a scent, although it is significantly weaker than Omegas and Alphas and can pass off as undetectable. A Beta’s scent may strengthen when distressed or aroused.Betas are not able to have naturally occurring heats and ruts, however, they can have a medically induced minor heat or rut (M.I.H./M.I.R.). MIHs/MIRs are most often used to assist mates in mating cycles but can be used for many reasons.Beta’s are extremely diverse in what they experience.
